Estimated cost to raise a house?

I have recently purchased a house with a sump pump system installed. We are hoping to use the basement as living space, not storage, however, we would like to raise the house approximately 3 feet before doing this. The main reason to raise the house is because the basement is currently sitting about 1 ft below what we believe is the water table. Currently, our sump pump is running on a fairly consistent basis, and we would like to reduce the risk of the basement flooding. Does anyone have an estimated cost to raise a 1100 sq ft ranch? Location is Upstate NY.
