Which graphics card to buy?

i want to buy a new graphics card I'm totally lost and don't know where to start. i have a HP p6213w desktop with a 21' HP 2159m monitor. im looking for a graphics card for casual gaming and movie watching and stuff like that not something over the edge but not a piece of crap something decent that's not overpriced.
