Gilmore Girls- Lorelai and Luke back together..HOW?

Emily went to Luke's and gave Luke a speech about how sometimes she thinks she knows what is best for Lorelai but it is not what Lorelai wants. She then said that there would be no more interference from her. Luke showed up at Lorelai's house and started kissing her as soon as she opened the door. Then they shut the door, still kissing and that was the end of the episode.
