What will happen to the FAFSA loans I have accepted if I do not attend cles for Fall?

A few months ago I accepted FAFSA financial aid and also a $12,000 subsidized loan for the 2009 school year. I am now trying to transfer to another school in Philadelphia ( I am in California) and it would be a lot easier on me if I moved and got established in the lext couple of months rather than right when school starts in January. What I need to know is if this could ruin financial aid in my future because I have already accepted the loans and grants and am not going to use them. Also, will I still have to pay that $12,000 even if it is not disbursed to me? I am not sure how the financial aid works when you transfer schools.
