Cramping and sharp pains after gastric byp surgery?

I may just be a hypochondriac, but I had my GBS on Wednesday (3/4). I am experiencing sharp gas pains and cramping while eating and drinking. I can keep my food down, and urinating is no problem. But I'm having a really hard time ping gas and burping. I just wanted to make sure that these things are normal. Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to relieve these pains, and any food recommendations to avoid these problems? Thanks in advance!!!
