Batch file that I can talk to with typing?

Hey i was wanting to make a batch file that was a command line. I would type in commands and the file would accomplish them. but, how would i make it so that i could talk to the file through the command line (typing to it) and having it respond without being the same response every time? like artificial intelligence for the batch file. Something like AIM bots. ok thanks.
