How can i get relief from gastric pains?

This is heartburn. You should avoid anything that will produce more acid in your stomach--coffee and other caffeinated beverages, chocolate, fried foods, tomato based products, citrus fruit and juices, spicy foods, and alcohol. Don't smoke. Read up on how to prevent GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease). See a doctor for regular meds if these attacks become recurrent.
